What is Natasha's Law?

Natasha's Law (Food Information Amendment) came into force October 2021 and requires UK food businesses to label all food prepacked for direct sale (PPDS) with a full ingredient list and the 14 regulated allergens emphasised.

Do I need PPDS labels for everything?

Only for food prepacked on the same premises for direct sale (sandwiches, salad pots, cakes wrapped before order). Made-to-order dishes don't need a printed label but you must provide allergen info on request — GovReady's matrix covers both.
